Speech Language Pathology Assistant (School Services) - $44 per hour

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Waxahachie, Texas to hire a school‑based Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant. The role supports students by assisting the supervising SLP‑CCC with evaluations and screenings, implementing individualized education plans, providing direct therapy services, and collecting and documenting student performance data.

Responsibilities

• Assist SLP‑CCC with evaluations and screenings.
• Implement individualized education plans developed and directed by the supervising SLP.
• Provide direct therapy services addressing treatment goals developed by the supervising SLP to meet student needs.
• Collect data, document student performance, and report information in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Active Texas SLPA license (if required by the state).
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred.
• School experience preferred but not required.

Pay

$41.10 – $44.25 per hour (based on 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week).

Schedule

Local contract position – 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts, ASAP start, 13‑week duration.
