About the role

MaxAbility Therapy Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team in Omaha, Nebraska. Full time and part time positions are available in school settings in the Omaha, Nebraska / Council Bluffs, Iowa area.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with speech, language, dysphagia, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, educators, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate students and their families about communication disorders and treatment strategies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Nebraska and/or Iowa.
• New graduates considered, with supervision provided for completing their clinical fellowship year.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment techniques, and therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
