In this role, youll work in a warm, play-based daycare and early learning environment dedicated to helping toddlers and preschoolers reach their full developmental and social potential. How Youll Make a Difference Evaluate & Assess: Conduct gentle, play-based speech, language, and early communication assessments to identify developmental needs in infants, toddlers, and young children. Targeted Intervention: Design and deliver fun, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to early childhood learning styles, sensory preferences, and developmental milestones. Team Collaboration: Partner closely with daycare teachers, early childhood specialists, and parents to integrate communication strategies into daily classroom routines, story times, and play. Progress Tracking: Monitor, document, and celebrate early milestones, adapting strategies to ensure steady growth in speech clarity, receptive/expressive language, and social communication. Family & Teacher Advocacy: Guide parents and childcare staff on early language strategies, modeling techniques for home and classroom carryover. Qualifications What You Bring: Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. Licensure: Valid State License in Speech-Language Pathology (or active eligibility); CCC-SLP preferred (CFYs welcome to apply).
