The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Telespeech Therapy delivers high-quality remote speech therapy services to school-aged students. This role focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders while collaborating with school teams to support student success.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech therapy sessions via teletherapy platforms.
- Utilize digital tools, interactive materials, and strategies to maintain student engagement in a virtual setting.
- Manage both individual and small group sessions effectively in an online environment.
- Implement behavior management strategies appropriate for virtual sessions.
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and school administrators to support student success.
- Communicate regularly with parents/caregivers regarding progress, strategies, and carryover activities.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, occupational therapists, and counselors.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and student support discussions.
- Provide consultation to school staff on classroom strategies and accommodations.
- Monitor progress toward IEP goals and adjust therapy approaches as needed.
- Prepare and present progress reports in accordance with school district timelines.
- Ensure compliance with service minutes and documentation requirements.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues to minimize disruptions during sessions.
- Maintain a professional virtual environment conducive to therapy.
- Ensure secure handling of student data and digital records.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid California State License in Speech-Language Pathology—must be maintained throughout employment.
- Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
- Equivalent to two (2) years of experience working with school-aged students in an educational setting.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of speech, fluency, language, voice, cognitive, hearing, and social communication disorders.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized, student-centered therapy plans.
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team to achieve quality outcomes, while ensuring precise, timely documentation that meets all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams and school personnel.
Skills

Schedule
