About the role
Provide exceptional therapeutic services in a school setting, focusing on improving students' functional abilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Assess students' developmental and functional levels to guide intervention strategies.
- Document progress and communicate with families and educational staff regularly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
- Experience working with children in a school environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and interventions.
- Ability to adapt therapy sessions to meet diverse student needs.
