School-Based Family Engagement & Communications Intern (Graduate Student)

The School Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting school-level communications, family engagement, and student success initiatives. This position works closely with school administrators, teachers, counselors, and support staff to promote school programs, strengthen family and community engagement, and highlight academic opportunities that support students’ college and career readiness. Support school-wide communication efforts, including updates to the school website, newsletters, social media, and family outreach materials.Assist in promoting family engagement initiatives, school events, academic programs, and student activities.Create and distribute communication materials that highlight student achievement, school programs, and college and career readiness opportunities.Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, counselors, and staff to ensure consistent and effective communication with families and the community.Assist in planning and promoting school events such as family nights, academic showcases, college readiness workshops, and community engagement activities.Communicate professionally with students, families, staff, and community members to support a positive school climate.Support the development and maintenance of school communication platforms, including digital content and printed materials.Assist with organizing and sharing information related to student academic progress, enrichment opportunities, and post-secondary preparation.Perform other duties as assigned by school leadership to support effective school operations and student success. Preferred Qualifications Currently enrolled in a graduate program in Marketing, Communications, Education, Public Relations, or a related field.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience with social media, digital content creation, or graphic design preferred.Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, families, and community partners.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a school environment.
