School Age Child Care Instructor (Float) 7-9 AM and 3:45-6 PM

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for school-age children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Plan and supervise assignments for the Child Development Assistant.
• Follow LPS Policies and Procedures and State of Michigan Licensing Rules for School-Age Programs.
• Initiate and maintain positive relationships with program families and LPS personnel.
• Cookordinate the on-site monthly payment collections.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study, or a minimum of 60 semester hours of college credit, 12 of which are in a child-related field of study, or an Associate’s Degree in a related field of study with 12 semester hours in a child-related field of study.
• Must have demonstrated ability to work well with children, parents and staff.
