About the role
The Childcare Floater Teacher Position is available for an experienced individual looking to support children in a variety of age-appropriate activities and educational settings.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities and play.
- Aid in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities.
- Provide a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
- Support lead teachers in classroom management and organization.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and supplies.
- Adapt to various classroom settings and age groups as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing classroom needs.
- Passion for nurturing and educating young minds.

- Registry Level 3 or higher
