About the role

Under the direction of the District School-Age Care (SAC) Coordinator, plan and direct the operation of a school site child care program during non-school hours, providing care in an educational-recreational program that complements the educational program of the school.

Schedule

• 6:30 am – 9:15 am and 12:45 pm – 6:00 pm at Shull Elementary School
• Start date: 2026-27 school year

Pay

$25.77 – $31.14 per hour (Range 27A)

Requirements

• Coursework in program administration and adult supervision preferred, or two years of experience working with children in an organized learning environment, including one year with first through eighth grade students.
• At least six months of previous supervisory experience.
• One of the following:
  • Completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (EC Section 45330[c][1])
  • Possession of an associate’s degree or higher (EC Section 45330[c][2])
  • Knowledge of, and ability to assist in, instructing reading, writing, and mathematics demonstrated through a local or state assessment (EC Section 45330[c][3])
• Current Community First Aid and CPR certificates.
