About the role

Under supervision, assist in planning and supervising the activities of school-aged children enrolled in an extended-day child-care program.

Schedule

• Up to 21 hours per week, part-time
• School-year length
• Work site to be determined
• Start and end times vary based on operational needs; typical hours are 12:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Pay

$18.97 – $22.99 per hour

Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Training in early-childhood education is desirable
• Experience and/or training in pre-school or early child-care programs
• Must meet one of the following:
  • Two years of college (48 units)
  • A.A. degree or higher
  • Passage of the CBEST exam
  • Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction
