About the role

Lansing Promise is a place-based scholarship and student-support organization dedicated to helping eligible students who live, attend high school, and graduate within the Lansing School District boundaries pursue and complete a postsecondary education, credential, or skilled-trades program.

Through scholarships, postsecondary partnerships, student support, and community engagement, Lansing Promise works to reduce financial barriers and expand access to education and career opportunities for Lansing-area students.

The Scholarship Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration, coordination, and oversight of the Lansing Promise Scholarship Program. This position serves as the primary internal resource for scholarship eligibility, student award administration, postsecondary partner communication, scholarship disbursements, student records, and compliance with Lansing Promise policies and applicable state requirements.

The Scholarship Program Manager manages the scholarship process from student eligibility and award acceptance through enrollment, annual renewal, payment, and completion. The position works
