About the Role

Patient Access scheduling employees must embody and deliver professionalism, excellent customer service, and strong oral and verbal communication when scheduling, registering, and interacting with BCM callers.

Responsibilities

  • Meet daily and monthly quotas for scheduling and rescheduling new and established patients following trained guidelines and procedures within the EMR “Epic system.”
  • Meet daily and monthly quotas for full registration following trained guidelines and procedures within the EMR “Epic system.”
  • Follow trained guidelines and procedures for inputting and verifying insurance of new and returning patients utilizing EMR.
  • Provide excellent customer service interactions utilizing trained college-wide patient experience tools.
  • Follow trained guidelines when utilizing telephony tools.
  • Meet monthly and daily quotas for MyChart.
  • Handle all other patient access scheduling and registration workflows.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • No prior experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of patient access experience.
  • Experience with Epic EMR.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Prior customer service experience.
