Job Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients for appropriate procedures based on physician's orders.
• Select accurate medical records for patient safety.
• Provide proper patient instructions, pre-register patients, obtain and validate demographic and insurance information, while offering excellent customer service.
• Perform Point of Service collections and financial counseling functions as required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodation.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) required within 9 months of hire.
• 1-3 years' work experience in a healthcare related position.
• Experience working with insurance companies and/or pre-authorizations required.
• Experience with patient access, managed care/insurance, formal typing, and MS applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Intermediate proficiency in multiple computer systems and use of dual screens.
• Able to multitask and apply critical thinking skills.
• Customer Service experience highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require.

Pay and Benefits

This position pays between $15.75-20.90/hour based on experience.
