About the role

Provides enterprise leadership for advancing scheduling strategy, standards, and performance across Ascension.

Responsible for overseeing the implementation/ sustainment of scheduling best practices, and partnering with operational and clinical leaders to ensure alignment with staffing targets, labor budgets, and patient care needs.

Ledges initiatives that strengthen schedule integrity, reduce premium labor, and promote equitable and transparent scheduling processes.

Provides oversight of scheduling governance, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to advance Scheduling Excellence across ministries.

Responsible for working with market schedulers to improve schedule quality, timeliness, accuracy and completeness and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met in these areas.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Must reside in WI.
  • Travel to MD is required.
  • Healthcare industry background.
  • 3+ years of experience in scheduling operations, workforce management, or staff coordination.
  • Experience with an enterprise scheduling platform (such as UKG) preferred.

Pay

$87,463 - $121,918

Schedule

Monday-Friday | Onsite greater than 50% of the workweek | Must be willing to travel to Baltimore, Maryland on a regular basis.
