Smith Therapy Partners has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics serving Las Vegas, Henderson, and surrounding communities for over 20 years. We are known for providing the highest quality care for our patients and our team of highly skilled physical therapists who are honored and delighted to help patients reach their goals. Currently, we are looking for a full-time Scheduling Coordinator for our W Alta location in Las Vegas.
Schedule
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities
- Answering inbound new patient calls and placing outbound new patient calls from faxed referrals.
- Analysis of incoming referrals to place calls and perform accurate data entry into our EMR.
- Understanding of insurance benefits and authorizations for obtaining prior to scheduling if required.
- Collaboration, communication, and scheduling skills to assist patients with appointment time and date for initial evaluation and the 5 following visits.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of problem-solving methodologies.
- Organize and prioritize various demands.
Requirements
- High school diploma (college a plus, but not mandatory if meeting experience requirements).
- At least two years of relevant work experience.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is strongly preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Action-oriented and driven for results; a self-starter who works with minimal direction.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to delegate and communicate honestly and professionally to build rapport.
- Demonstrated active listening skills, including asking clarifying questions and soliciting feedback.

Physical Requirements
- Requires prolonged standing, sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
