THE POSITION
Our Richardson, TX branch is looking for a self-motivated and organized Scheduling Coordinator to provide administrative and clerical support and consultation to office staff, nurses, pediatric clients, and families while acting as a liaison for Pediatric Home Service.
- Captures and coordinates the schedules for direct patient caregivers and clients on a monthly and on-going basis taking into consideration the number of hours approved and requested, as well as the direct patient caregiver's requested schedule.
- Works closely with nurses and clients/families to ensure maximum staffing outcomes.
- Completes general offices tasks such as phones, greeting visitors, mailing needs, ordering supplies, etc.
- Identifies staffing needs and reports needs to branch administration and/or Human Resources.
- Aids in the payroll process as directed.
- Aids in the recruiting and applicant to new hire process as directed.
- Promotes and practices positive staff, client, and family relations.
- Facilitates problem-solving through a collaborative approach.
- Maintains awareness of staffing needs and reports them to branch administration and/or Human Resources.
- Maintains employee and client files including tracking and reporting on missing/deficient items.
- Completes and maintains documentation, files, and records as required.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of office experience required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Experience in medical scheduling, payroll, recruitment or related field preferred.
- Ability to prioritize; attention to detail, work independently and give work direction effectively preferred.
