About the role
We're recruiting for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to provide support to the sales and Production teams at our Tuff Shed Factory Store in Hutchins.
Responsibilities
- Support the sales and production teams by coordinating and scheduling Tuff Shed installations.
- Predict and resolve all levels of issues related to customer interactions, vendor relations, and subcontractor coordination.
- Prepare the daily "packs" required for installation, including verifying orders, requesting materials, and creating purchase orders and waivers.
- Act as the first point of contact with our "Big Box" partner, responding to queries, managing the database, and assisting the sales teams.
- Understand and meet the needs of customers, recognizing special needs and recommending appropriate upsells.
- Assist in the General Manager's office with various tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work directly with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and sales consultants.
- Attention to detail, especially in preparing the daily "packs" required for installation.
- Experience working in logistics, coordination, project management, or a similar field, or the ability to quickly learn technical aspects related to basic product design and functionality.
- Hands-on computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with JD Edwards software is preferred.
- Able to take on a role with a steep learning curve, knowing the details about our products and discussing offers and options with partners and customers.
- A high school diploma or equivalent education.

Qualifications
- Successful prior experience working in logistics, coordination, project management, or a similar capacity.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines on multiple projects.
- Strong math and communication skills.
- A current valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
