Scheduling Coordinator - ABC Endoscopy & Imaging
Summary of Job Duties
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for supporting all department/clinic staff and providers who utilize the schedule for Endoscopy procedural areas. Ensures the procedural schedules are managed according to policies and procedures in a manner that yields maximum utilization and accuracy. Schedulers have an in-depth understanding of the operational areas to effectively meet the patient and provider needs. Highly focused on customer service and achievement of perioperative utilization metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate, GED, or formal education equivalent plus (7) seven years of training and/or experience in business office administration, customer service, or related work, of which three years’ experience is in patient registration, scheduling, or billing in a healthcare environment OR Bachelor's degree plus three years’ experience in patient registration, scheduling, or billing in a healthcare environment.

Acts as the point of contact for procedural scheduling for all UAMS departments/clinics staff and providers. Other Duties as Assigned.
Salary Information
$18.99 - hr $39,499.20 - annual
