About the role
Lutron invites you to apply to join the Talent Acquisition team as a Scheduling Assistant at our Global Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA, where you'll help power our companywide recruiting efforts. In this role, you'll be at the center of Lutron's Talent Acquisition operations, partnering closely with candidates, hiring managers, and interviewers to ensure every interaction is smooth, thoughtful, and welcoming. From coordinating interviews to creating personalized, high-touch experiences, you'll play a key role in shaping how candidates experience Lutron—helping them leave each interaction feeling valued, informed, and excited about what's next.
Responsibilities
- Ensure challenging interview scheduling demands are met by working closely with recruiting team members and hiring managers throughout the organization
- Utilize software tools to coordinate interview logistics, manage interviewer capacity, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders
- Oversee the distribution of scheduling responsibilities among team members – ensuring workload balance and seamless coordination to meet goals
- Handle travel arrangements for onsite interviews and candidate visits, proactively managing and adjusting plans as needed
- Engage with candidates throughout their interview process, providing real-time support and ensuring a seamless experience
- Maintain essential materials needed to support Talent Acquisition activities
- Process and track invoices related to recruitment and hiring operations
- Provide daily operational assistance – stepping in wherever needed to support the team's success
- Support onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition
- Enhance operational effectiveness by analyzing current processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to drive quality results
Qualifications
- Associates degree or Bachelors degree required
- If less than 10 years of professional work experience, minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA is required
- Previous experience in recruitment coordination, talent acquisition, HR support, or administrative roles is preferred
- Must be located within commutable distance of Coopersburg, PA to accommodate in-office schedule
- Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with a variety of software-based systems such as applicant tracking systems
