Overview
Full-time, day shift, Monday through Friday. Remote position with occasional need to come onsite to Des Moines, IA. Manages and oversees scheduling and timekeeping for designated departments across the organization for the Workforce Optimization Center. Creates schedules and ensures accuracy and consistency with timekeeping and scheduling practices per organizational guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling and timekeeping for designated departments across markets.
- Maintain position control, open shifts, leaves of absence (LOAs), and vacant FTEs; assess scheduling impact.
- Create new-hire orientation schedules and reinforce staffing, scheduling, and timekeeping training.
- Review and process PTO requests; balance schedules to meet critical staffing needs.
- Coordinate incentive shifts, per diem, and supplemental staffing in partnership with unit leaders.
- Ensure accurate timecard management; track attendance and support corrective action documentation.
- Collaborate with leadership to resolve scheduling, payroll, and timekeeping issues.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED required.
- Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience including data entry, multitasking, and problem solving.
- Preferred: Scheduling and timekeeping experience.
