Scheduling Analyst

Plains is an industry‑leading transportation and midstream provider specializing in transportation, storage, processing and marketing solutions for crude oil. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Plains owns an extensive network of pipeline transportation, terminalling, storage and gathering assets across the United States and Canada. The company is seeking a motivated Scheduling Analyst to join the Pipeline Commercial Analysis team in Houston, reporting to the Manager of Pipeline Commercial Operations.

Responsibilities

• Compile and prepare weekly month‑to‑date crude oil volume reports for pipeline systems.
• Ensure the accuracy of reports submitted to management.
• Compile, reconcile, and organize all support files.
• Maintain awareness of physical changes to each pipeline system and modify reports accordingly.
• Provide support for Pipeline Scheduling and Pipeline Commercial Operations as needed.
• Assist with special projects and ad‑hoc analysis projects as they arise.
• Engage in frequent communications with field operating personnel, pipeline commercial, internal management, and customers.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pipeline operations.
• Ability to multi‑task and work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PC applications.
• Cleared criminal history (background) check and satisfactory reference checks.
• Compliance with the company’s Drug & Alcohol Policy, including pre‑employment testing.
• Not eligible for employment‑based visa sponsorship; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of employment.
