Scheduler | Surgery

Monday - Friday only. No nights, weekends, calls, or holidays.

About the role

Plans and schedules surgical and related appointments for doctors. Manages certain functions related to credentialing of professional staff members for the facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintains master schedule to ensure coordination between doctors, anesthesia, lab, and insurance carriers.
• Schedules surgeries and coordinates schedule between the Surgery Center and doctors' offices.
• Gathers all detailed information for the patient's chart, such as type of procedure, supplies, special equipment required, and insurance information.
• Provides relief for the front business office, receptionist, and other business functions as needed.

Requirements

• High school education and/or equivalent.
• Up to one year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay

Salary range: $22.69 to $32.90 per hour. Wages are determined based on qualifications and experience.
