About the role
The Nursing Schedule Coordinator is a key team member responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels meet at all times.
Responsibilities
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents and team members.
- Develop and maintain staffing schedules that ensure high-quality nursing care.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to advise on staffing needs and ensure compliance with budgetary, state, and federal guidelines.
- Work towards a common goal of providing excellent care for residents.
- Communicate effectively with team members to establish equitable and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a state-approved training program in medication administration.
- Indiana QMA or CNA license.
- A strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
