Job Summary
The Scheduler position is responsible for scheduling field and special events personnel, processing hours worked, and providing payroll with required reports and hours worked in a timely and accurate manner. This position is also responsible for assisting in administrative functions for the operation.
Essential Functions/Duties
- Oversight over all daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for the Operations division.
- Successfully identify solutions that balance the needs of the employee with the demands of the operation.
- Create shifts and assignments where needed, and modify daily schedule as needed, which includes notifying and communicating with employees regarding shift assignments, trade approvals, and PTO requests.
- Ensure satisfactory reconciliation and synchronization of scheduling information in the timekeeping system.
- Review and verify employee hours for accuracy.
- Aid in recording and maintaining employee attendance records/files and payroll functions.
- Prepare and compile various periodic reports and documents for review and analysis, such as weekly payroll stats, personnel stats, absence reports, over-time tracking, and other related reports.
- Ensure compliance with location-specific operating procedures, collective bargaining agreements, union contracts, etc.
- Schedule Public Relations demonstrations, standbys, and special event staffing.
- Promptly and courteously respond to inquiries from field and leadership personnel.
- Perform clerical duties including typing, filing, ordering supplies, answering telephone calls, answering screen calls, and taking messages.
- Process accounts payable bills, credit card purchases, and other related duties.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Champion affirmative action efforts in all aspects of employment, including but not limited to staffing, training, promotion, etc.
- Comply with and enforce company/departments policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge and experience in Scheduling/Staffing.
- Experience in performing administrative and clerical duties.
Training
- Computer skills to ensure proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Pay
$18.00 (This rate applies to 8-hour shift and average 40 per week)
