Scheduler II
Saint Luke’s East in Lee's Summit is seeking a Scheduler II to join the Medical Oncology clinic team.
About the role
You will provide customer service to patients, families, physicians, physician offices, the community, and internal departments throughout SLHS for a minimum of two modalities within the scope of the position.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Schedule tests, procedures, treatments, and services with limited supervision.
- Determine financial accountability, provide information, and offer referrals proactively.
- Problem-solve concerns and issues.
- Provide patient instructions and education regarding preparations for tests and procedures.
- Regularly assist in co-worker training.
- Work on special projects consistently.
- Complete patient scheduling accurately with limited supervision.
- Achieve quality score for career ladder level II as determined by Patient Access Leadership.
- Perform scheduling in at least two locations within the scope of the position.
- Demonstrate ability to problem-solve customer concerns consistently.
- Maintain a 95% score on customer reviews.
- Contribute to developing changes in department processes.
- Exceed productivity goals by up to 20% where applicable.
Requirements
- 1 year of applicable experience.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team.
