Scheduler II

Responsibilities

• Maintains compliance with contract specifications and Gilbane's Baseline Operations Playbook.
• Aids project personnel in creating phasing/logistics plans.
• Prepares Critical Path Method (CPM) scenarios for management and ensures accuracy.
• Evaluates schedules prepared by others and provides recommendations.
• Communicates with clients to ensure satisfaction or takes corrective action as necessary.
• Analyzes schedules and delays, presenting recovery recommendations to management.
• Oversight and notifications regarding project risks, ensuring proper documentation of schedules.
• Participates in project pursuits, preparing fee proposals, RFP responses, and presentation content.
• Accurately documents schedule bases, identifying critical assumptions and GMPs.
• Trains and coaches less experienced scheduling and project team employees.
• Conducts monthly schedule project audits and trains Project Managers and Superintendents on scheduling software.
• Supports project teams during regular jobsite walks.
• Supports the team in maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 4-12 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Thorough understanding of scheduling principles and methodologies, including Critical Path Method, Last Planner, etc.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Lean Construction Techniques.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in scheduling software, including Primavera, Microsoft Project, Touchplan, Hoylu, Netpoint, etc.
• Experience with document control and office software like Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office.
• Ability to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.

Pay

To be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team. For Minnesota, this ranges from $100,000 - $140,000 plus benefits and retirement program.
