Responsibilities
- Coordination and control of tunneling project timelines
- Central liaison between owners engineering teams and contractors
- Safeguard accuracy of schedules, enforce contractual obligations, and ensure clear communication of time-related goals
- Review, assess, and track contractor-submitted schedules
- Offer strategic analysis to guide project planning, mitigate risks, and inform critical decisions
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using specialized software
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to establish project requirements, milestones, and critical path activities
- Perform schedule analysis, including critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and resource leveling
- Identify potential schedule delays, conflicts, and opportunities for optimization
- Provide insights and recommendations based on schedule data analysis to support decision-making, mitigate risks, and ensure project objectives are achieved within established timelines and budget constraints
- Monitor schedule performance, track progress against key milestones, and report on project schedule status, deviations, and variances to project teams and stakeholders
- Prepare schedule reports, graphical presentations, and visual representations of project schedules for project meetings, progress reviews, and presentations to senior management
- Support the development of baseline schedules, progress measurement methodologies, and earned value analysis
Qualifications
- 5-7 years experience in similar roles
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Scheduler or Scheduler Analyst in large construction projects, with a focus on tunneling or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex project schedules and data
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of project management principles, scheduling best practices, and construction methodologies
Pay
The estimated starting salary for this position is $150k. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
