About Us
Cooper University Health Care is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving residents and visitors throughout Cape May County. The system includes Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional; three urgent care facilities; nearly 30 primary care and specialty care offices in multiple locations throughout Cape May County; The Cancer Center at Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional; the Claire C. Brodesser Surgery Center; AMI at Cooper, Miracles Fitness, and numerous freestanding outpatient facilities providing wound care, lab, and physical therapy services.
Responsibilities
- Promptly and professionally answers telephone calls.
- Provides complete explanation of testing instructions and preparations.
- Schedules services, ensuring all aspects of appointments are appropriate and accurate, including patient demographics and appointment details.
- Obtains and records patient insurance, prescription, referral, and other financial and clinical documents.
- Explains financial requirements to the patients or responsible parties.
- Verifies insurance eligibility and ensures that insurance requirements are met prior to delivery of service.
- Accurately processes all requests and documents appropriate information in CAST tracking tool based on established office protocol.
Requirements
- Experience in Diagnostic Imaging Scheduling.
- Previous data entry or typing experience and knowledge of basic office equipment required.
- Computer experience required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
