Scheduler

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor the project planning, resource analysis, functional integration and forecast and trend analysis.
• Reviews schedules and to prepare reports and presentations to communicate project status and findings of analysis.
• Makes sure progress during construction and re-programming if required.
• Integrates information from the designers, construction, subcontractors, and suppliers to create a master schedule.
• Covers coordination between areas and departments, in order to elaborate a realistic schedule.
• Preparation of detailed construction programs in Primavera P6.
• Preparation of the narrative.
• Presentation/dissemination of planning/programming philosophy.
• Production of Cost Forecast and operation Earned Value Management process.
• Makes sure continuously all project problems, takes advantage of conversion opportunities if any and recommends solutions for scrapping and potential.
• Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Makes sure monitoring construction claims and change orders related to scheduling impacts.
• Preparation of Extension of Time (EOT).

Qualifications

• At a minimum, the Construction Scheduler must have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent field of study, along with 6+ years of proven experience in project scheduling and maintaining/updating Primavera (P6) schedules and performance measurement systems within heavy civil construction projects and OR high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 10+ years of proven experience in project scheduling and maintaining/updating Primavera (P6) schedules and performance measurement systems within heavy civil construction projects.
