Scheduler, Associates in OBGYN, Days

Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for outpatient diagnostic testing and/or surgical procedures for Norton Medical Group patients
• Instructs doctor’s office and/or patients regarding pre-procedure clinical preparations, as required
• Obtains basic demographic and insurance coverage information
• Obtains and processes orders through our EPIC electronic health record or other methods as necessary
• Reviews orders to ensure all information is complete and meets the criteria

Qualifications

• No experience required; comprehensive on‑the‑job training provided

Desired

• One year scheduling tests/procedures or patient registration experience in a healthcare setting
• High School Diploma or GED
