Scattered-Site Supported Housing Specialist

About the role

The role involves providing support to individuals experiencing homelessness, assisting them in accessing housing resources, and helping them navigate the complex system of services available.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in identifying and securing appropriate housing options
• Provide emotional support and guidance to clients
• Coordinate referrals to other community services as needed
• Document client interactions and progress in a timely manner

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in social services or related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Knowledge of local housing resources and services
