Scan Coordinator

About the role

As a Scan Coordinator at Sprouts Farmers Market, you’ll maintain overall price integrity in the store while working in a fast-paced environment that specializes in attention to detail. This role offers the opportunity to learn about new products and inspire customers to make healthier choices through positive shopping experiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including updating shelf signs and tags and promotional signage.
• Verify weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage in all departments.
• Ensure compliance with all company and governmental regulations related to pricing.
• Work quickly and accurately to support pricing integrity in the store.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills to analyze scanning programs, maintain reports, and understand billing and accounting principles.
• Excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Capable of reading price tags, creating signs, posting price tags, and using a computer to activate new pricing.
• Good vision to read and set signs, and ability to use a step ladder.
• Ability to vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 lbs., from 1” to 34”, up to a distance of 8 feet for up to 1 hour.
• Walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour shift.
• Conduct repetitive crouching, kneeling, or squatting to access points 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $29.15 per hour, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
