SCADA Engineer - Ignition

Job Tasks

Work remote and/or onsite with customers and team members to develop and document project requirements
Possibly provide custom development and systems integration services to meet customers functionality requirements
Configure data collections to plant floor devices
Provide data validation and system testing support
User training as required

Requirements

• Two years of practical Ignition experience including custom development and integration services
• Three years of IIoT project experience in manufacturing environments
• Two years of Python/Jython development experience
• Two years of Javascript and/or Java experience preferred
• Willingness to travel as required (up to 20%)

Qualifications

• Required: B.S. Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the requested field

Skills

• Experience in manufacturing production processes and protocols
• Establish priorities, work both independently and in team settings
• A professional manner with excellent organizational and communication skills
