Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and deployment of Ignition Perspective applications for complex industrial and critical facility environments.
- Design intuitive operator interfaces, dashboards, alarm management displays, and system visualizations.
- Develop reusable templates, component libraries, and SCADA standards to improve consistency across projects.
- Collaborate with controls, integration, and software teams to deliver seamless front-end and back-end functionality.
- Support project planning, technical reviews, and client-facing discussions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level SCADA engineers.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, visualization challenges, and operational concerns during testing and commissioning.
- Drive user acceptance testing, validation activities, and system optimization efforts.
Required Experience
- Extensive experience developing and supporting Ignition SCADA applications, including Ignition Perspective.
- Proven ability to design complex HMI and SCADA architectures from concept through deployment.
- Experience creating advanced graphical displays, dynamic dashboards, SVG-based graphics, and equipment visualizations.
- Strong understanding of alarm management, historical trending, reporting, and real-time data presentation.
- Experience developing standardized screen templates and scalable graphical libraries.
- Knowledge of role-based security models and user access management within SCADA environments.
- Ability to create responsive applications that function across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
- Experience developing custom styling, visual elements, and enhanced user experiences using CSS and related technologies.
- Familiarity with industrial automation systems, PLC platforms, building automation systems, power monitoring systems, or related technologies.
- Previous experience leading technical project work and interacting directly with customers and stakeholders.
