SCADA Engineer - Ignition

About the role

Join a leading system integrator delivering Ignition SCADA solutions for mission‑critical data centers. This hands‑on role focuses on deployment, commissioning, testing, and customer support, with a compensation of approximately $185k and a rotation of two weeks remote followed by two weeks onsite.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and commission Ignition SCADA systems
• Perform point‑to‑point verification and testing
• Support FAT, SAT, UAT, and startup activities
• Troubleshoot SCADA, PLC, and communication issues
• Validate graphics, alarms, trends, and data flows
• Work directly with clients during turnover and go‑live
• Document field activities and punch‑list items

Requirements

• 3+ years with Ignition SCADA / Ignition Perspective
• SCADA commissioning and deployment experience
• Experience with PLCs and industrial communications
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working independently onsite
• Client‑facing communication skills
• Ability to travel 40‑50%+
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Data Center, BMS, or EPMS experience
• SQL, Historians, or MQTT exposure
• UAT and QA experience
• Startup and commissioning background
