Saxophone instructor needed in Silver Spring, MD

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Saxophone. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Silver Spring, MD area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach saxophone lessons in students' homes, your own home, or your own studio/rehearsal space.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office about scheduling and any changes.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and passionate about teaching.
• Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule to accommodate students in the Silver Spring, MD area.
• Willingness to travel to students if necessary.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to teach independently and set your own curriculum.

Benefits

• Independent contractor status with pay ranging from $20-$30 per hour based on travel time, experience, and student retention rate.
