About the role
We are seeking dependable and personable 3rd Shift Saw Operators for our Hauppauge, NY branch. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM
Responsibilities
- Operate automatic cold saw and band saw
- Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
- Work with quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers to perform basic dimensional tolerances
- Monitor machine operation for continued accuracy throughout cutting processes
- Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goals
Requirements
- Ability to read micrometers and tape measures
- Forklift experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
- Familiar with basic computer systems
Pay
- Starting salary: $20.00/hr
