- Reviews and organizes work orders.
- Sets up measurements on the saw.
- Supplies the bar feeder with appropriate material.
- Runs and operates the saw.
- Deburrs finished parts using deburring wheel or other hand tools if necessary.
- Performs quality checks and measures finished parts using hand measurement tools.
- Logs date and other details of job on work order.
- Communicates material needs to the lead and production planners.
- Performs basic PM’s and 5S in area as required.
A team player with excellent communication skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude and solid blueprint reading skills.
Ability to think abstractly to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems.
Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities to reflect changing needs or job demands.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Experience running a saw preferred.
Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. safely.
$19+ per hour, based on experience
