Saw Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate all saws
• Adjust and dial in saw lasers
• Program the auto-feed of saws
• Safely use crane and hoist system
• Cut compound and double-miter angles accurately
• Read blueprints and search on e-files
• Change saw blades safely
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical errors in the saws
• Operate a forklift
• Bundle cut material

Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Basic mathematic knowledge of fractions and decimals
• Identify various types of sizes and metal
• Be able to lift up to 75lbs
• Knowledge of how blade speed and feed rate correlate with each other for longevity of saw blades
