About the role

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT Chapter, Millburn, NJ) is seeking motivated and engaging SAT section specialist tutors for assignments with students in grades 9-12 in Livingston, NJ and surrounding communities. This is a contract position focusing on SAT Math. Tutoring takes place at an established local learning center.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person tutoring to students in grades 9-12.
• Tutoring assignments are typically 60 minutes.
• Tutoring assignments will be regular and reliable.

Schedule

• Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 2 PM and 8 PM EST during the week.
• On weekend days, sessions are scheduled between 10 AM and 4 PM.

Requirements

• 4‑12 hours per week of availability.
• Earned Bachelor's Degree.
• At least 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching the Math section of the Digital SAT.
• Strong past test scores.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• A passion for helping others learn.
