About the role
The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT Chapter, Millburn, NJ) is seeking SAT Math section specialist tutors for in-person assignments with students in grades 9‑12 at an established local learning center in Livingston, NJ and surrounding communities. This is a contract position.
Responsibilities
- Provide in‑person tutoring to students in grades 9‑12.
- Conduct tutoring sessions typically lasting 60 minutes.
- Maintain regular and reliable tutoring assignments.
- Schedule sessions primarily between 2 PM and 8 PM EST on weekdays and between 10 AM and 4 PM on weekend days.
Requirements
- Availability of 4‑12 hours per week.
- Earned Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching the Math section of the Digital SAT.
- Strong past test scores.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- A passion for helping others learn.
