About the role
The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT Chapter, Millburn, NJ) is seeking motivated and engaging SAT Math specialist tutors for in‑person assignments with students in grades 9‑12 at an established local learning center in Livingston, NJ and surrounding communities. This is a contract position.
Responsibilities
- Provide in‑person tutoring to students in grades 9‑12.
- Conduct tutoring sessions typically lasting 60 minutes.
- Maintain regular and reliable tutoring assignments.
Schedule
- Availability: 4‑12 hours per week.
- Weekday sessions: generally between 2 PM and 8 PM EST.
- Weekend sessions: generally between 10 AM and 4 PM.
Requirements
- Earned Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching the Math section of the Digital SAT.
- Strong past test scores.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- A passion for helping others learn.
