SAS Group names business development, customer support managers

Terry Sturgell Jr. has been appointed as the group’s business development manager and Gary Griessmeyer as its customer support manager at The SAS Group, which incorporates Tenamec brands SAS Forks, SAS Rail, and DRKhorse Tools.

About the roles

As business development manager, Terry Sturgell will develop the steel mill, quarry, and waterfront markets and will represent the company in industry organizations such as the National Demolition Association (NDA).

“I and others here have worked with Terry in the past and recognize his expertise and dedication to the client,” says Bruce Bacon, SAS Group president. “Terry has been very well liked and accepted in many of the markets DRKhorse is presently in.”

Gary Griessmeyer joins as customer support manager with over 30 years of scrap operations management experience. In this role, he will build a strong customer services department to support the group’s end user and dealer organizations.
