Responsibilities

• Provide personnel security advice, support, and oversight to ensure only the most trustworthy individuals work on the integration of space systems capabilities
• Effectively lead, motivate and guide workforce
• Operate in dynamic organization structure and communicate both orally and in writing
• Exhibit mastery of problem-solving and the ability to understand complex problems
• Establish and maintain relationships with key individuals/groups within and outside immediate work unit including field-level representatives
• Advise senior leaders and field-level representatives

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI access
• This is a designated drug testing position. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing
• Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) required
• May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments
• May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis
• Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed "Unscheduled Telework"
• Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 15 days per year
• Top Secret Clearance
• Intimately familiar with Special Access Program Security processes
• Knowledge of JADE system of record
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Leadership experience
• Security Professional Education Development (SPēD) Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) and Special Program Security Certification (SPSC)
• 5 or more years supporting SAP programs
