About the role
Barclays Services Corp. is seeking a SAP Technical Lead in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available).
Responsibilities
- Participate in the technical development activity for the SAP Finance Technology team to enable and deliver global services and solutions across Barclays functions and businesses via the bank's SAP enterprise platforms.
- Participate in the design, build, and implement of complex IT solutions.
- Support Project & Programme delivery through taking a lead role in technical development activity.
- Participate in the development activity associated with small change and 3rd line Run The Bank (RTB) BAU support.
- Undertake requirement gathering and analysis, and complete technical and functional documentation.
- Perform hands-on configuration in the FICO arena.
- Perform unit and system testing and support UAT and regression testing.
- Partner in SAP project deployments and conduct user training.
- Identify efficiency improvement opportunities and work on service improvement plans.
- Utilize various IT tools technologies to carry out the sophisticated job duties including SAP Business suite products, SAP NetWeaver, ABAP on HANA and Fiori Developments including knowledge in CDS, AMDP and Fiori UI5 development.
- May telecommute pursuant to company policies. [Hybrid role]
Qualifications
- Experience in SAP and SAP NetWeaver development.
- Knowledge in ABAP on HANA and Fiori Developments including CDS, AMDP and Fiori UI5 development.
- Experience in hands-on configuration in the FICO arena.
- Experience in unit and system testing and support UAT and regression testing.
- Experience in SAP project deployments and user training.
- Experience in identifying efficiency improvement opportunities and working on service improvement plans.
- Experience in utilizing various IT tools technologies to carry out sophisticated job duties.
Skills
- Industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance code.
- Collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- Effective unit testing practices.
- Secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.

Minimum/yr: $150,550
