SAP S/4HANA – Workiva Integration Consultant / Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Workiva Integration Consultant to design, develop, and support integrations between SAP S/4HANA and the Workiva platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP integration technologies, financial reporting, and automation of regulatory reporting processes. The consultant will collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integrations between SAP S/4HANA and Workiva for financial reporting and compliance.
  • Develop and expose SAP CDS Views and OData APIs for data extraction from SAP S/4HANA.
  • Configure integration using SAP Integration Suite (CPI), REST APIs, OData Services, and Workiva APIs.
  • Build and support data synchronization between SAP Finance modules and Workiva.
  • Collaborate with Finance teams to automate SEC, SOX, ESG, statutory, and management reporting.
  • Develop data transformation, validation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Configure secure authentication using OAuth 2.0 and API security standards.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures and optimize performance.
  • Perform unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation, integration design documents, and support handover.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6+ years of experience in SAP integration technologies.
  • Experience with SAP CDS Views and OData APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with REST APIs and Workiva APIs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in configuring integration using SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
  • Experience with data transformation, validation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Knowledge of secure authentication using OAuth 2.0 and API security standards.
  • Experience with unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in SAP integration technologies (e.g., Certified SAP Integration Developer).
  • Experience with Workiva platforms and regulatory reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
