About the Role

This role involves leading strategic data migration initiatives for SAP S/4HANA solutions, defining global vision, architecture, and implementation roadmaps. The consultant will work on global design and build projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data migration solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define data migration global vision, scope, and target architecture across all rollout waves.
  • Translate data migration needs into SAFe epics/features/stories for PI planning.
  • Lead fit-to-standard/gap workshops for master and transactional data conversion.
  • Design data migration framework, including ETL toolset, staging, reconciliation, audit, and security.
  • Architect SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (MC) and Migration Object Modeler (MOM) usage.
  • Architect data quality, profiling, cleansing, enrichment, and stewardship workflows.
  • Establish master data standards and golden record rules for customers, materials, suppliers, and finance.
  • Drive multiple migration cycles (mock loads), defect triage, and progressive sign-off.
  • Define performance and volumetrics for cutover-window-bound loads.
  • Lead reconciliation strategy (counts, balances, hash totals) and audit evidence.
  • Plan and govern rollout cutover loads, downtime, fallback, and hypercare reconciliations.
  • Drive continuous improvement backlog using KPIs (load defect rate, cycle time, data quality scores).
  • Conduct global and site-level workshops to elicit requirements, validate design, and drive alignment.
  • Travel to manufacturing sites and business locations to understand site-specific constraints and support deployments.
  • Collaborate closely with BPOs/FILs and super user groups to align global template with business needs.
  • Train and engage BPOs/FILs and super users on tools and standard ways of working.
  • Orchestrate SIT/UAT sessions, manage user coordination, and assess business change impacts.
  • Serve as the solution lead on strategic initiatives, preparing input for plans, staffing models, and cost estimates.
  • Develop solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation.
  • Ensure analytics solutions align with organization objectives and global design.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional analytics-driven business improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze current customer investments on S/4HANA solutions and provide futuristic roadmaps.
  • Document clear and complete requirements for complex solutions.

Requirements

  • 10 to 15+ years of SAP data migration/conversion experience with a bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering.
  • Subject matter expertise in SAP Migration Cockpit/MOM, BODS/SDI, LSMW, data profiling, and cleansing tools.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, Solution Manager, and leading practices.
  • Experience creating business strategy, process definition, and design thinking approaches.
  • Ability to facilitate design sessions with small to large groups through challenging discussions.
  • Experience working with large cross-functional teams and solving complex problems in dynamic environments.
  • Strong relationship management skills to partner and collaborate with project teams and client users.
  • Results orientation with a focus on driving to deadlines and project goals.

Pay

$120,000 to $160,000 per annum.
