SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting Senior Managing Consultant

About the role

This role is for an SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting Senior Managing Consultant, delivering SAP implementation services across all sectors of TruQua and IBM within North America. You will lead project teams and serve as an individual contributor, focusing on proposal development, ensuring quality team delivery, thought leadership, team utilization, and revenue growth on projects.

The practitioner will be highly knowledgeable in SAP S/4HANA Finance product modules, including business processes, navigation mechanics, configuration requirements, and integration with other modules. You will lead practitioners to develop and maintain configuration and functional design documents, support role-based profile changes, and advise client executives on the strategic benefits of SAP RAR within their broader Finance Transformation.

This role can be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and serve as an individual contributor in SAP implementation services.
• Support sales activities, including scoping, solutioning, program planning, and driving RFPs around SAP and Finance Transformation for TruQua.
• Write and shape proposals and present at oral presentations.
• Develop and maintain configuration and functional design documents.
• Advise client executives on the benefits of SAP RAR as part of their Finance Transformation strategy.
• Create Process Design Documents (PDDs) based on leading practices and business requirements, outlining process flow, WRICEF (development) requirements, and process/system controls.
• Lead successful conversions to S/4HANA Revenue Recognition OCM, including writing design documents (WRICEF Functional Spec) from ECC (with and without SD-Rev Rec) and collaborating with developers.
• Solution Revenue Accounting for standalone and bundled sales offers, including:
  • Products (one-time sales, recurring sales, usage-based models)
  • Services/Intellectual Property (warranty, repair, access, training, royalties)
  • Software (On Prem, SaaS, Credit-based, Post or Pre-paid)
• Implement Revenue Accounting solutions in industries such as Medical Devices, High Tech, or Utilities with asset-based sales models, with or without consumable/usage scenarios.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) consultant with integration experience in SD.
• Ability to speak on business requirements and leading practices for IFRS15, IFRS16, ASC 606, ASC842, etc.
• Experience solutioning integration with Fixed Assets/Lease Accounting and Revenue Recognition (RAR).
• Experience with:
  • SD-based Revenue Recognition
  • RAR Classic Contract Management (CCM)
  • RAR implementing Optimized Contract Management (OCM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing leading practices for:
  • Revenue Recognition integrated from Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM)
  • Revenue Recognition integrated to Contract Accounting (FI-CA)
  • Revenue, Cost, and Margin (G/L and Margin Analysis) reporting with bundles
