Senior Accounting Consultant
We are partnering with a respected organization seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant to support critical accounting and financial initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys solving complex financial challenges, improving processes, and partnering with leadership to drive accurate financial reporting and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Absorb and review financial statements and management reporting
• Analyze accounting processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency
• Support audit activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Possess and communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve reporting accuracy
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special financial projects
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred
