SAP Production Support - Broken Arrow, OK

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Support person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for the Siemens Spiridon SAP system with main focus on Production Planning (PP), Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management/Warehouse Management (MM/WM) modules.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business users to ensure that the system is running smoothly and efficiently.
• Resolve day-to-day problems and provide support for system changes advised by Siemens Corporate.
• Train users on the Siemens Spiridon SAP system.
• Global coordination with the SherpaX implementation team so that BKA SAP can be implemented based on the OneTech Company and SherpaX initiatives.
• Provide technical support and maintenance for the SAP manufacturing system.
• Primarily on-site to validate SAP actions, support manufacturing, and collaborate with colleagues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP.
• Update and maintain plant-level material master data, coordinating actions with various groups.
• Work as member of Broken Arrow COGI team to fix and resolve COGI.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the Switchgear SAP processes.
• Coordinate with the Siemens Corporate SAP support personnel to suggest new or improved functionality.
• Deliver training to end-users on Switchgear / Siemens transactions and process flows.
• Assist with Master Data updates and Engineering Changes as needed.
• Assist as needed with the intra-company business.

Requirements

• Understanding how to query the SAP system, understanding of ERP systems and manage data in Excel is a must.
• 2-4 years of manufacturing value-chain experience, including fabrication, with the ability to apply this knowledge to virtual processes in SAP.
• Solid grasp of SAP production transactions, sales and distribution and project systems related to engineering practices and their linkage to manufacturing.
• Superb communication skills.
• Have prepared and presented SAP training.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: High School/GED.

Skills

• Expert in running reports from SAP and searching for specific data as needed or requested by Management or Users.
• Must be able to manipulate exported SAP data in Excel.
